This week's earrings are these Les Fleurs Fossiles Fern earrings by Greet from fleurfatale on Etsy. Greet is a very lovely and sweet friend, which I met last years on craft fairs in Maastricht and in Amsterdam. We laughed a lot together and we both love vintage buttons :) She is a loyal supporter of my work and I am also proud to own some great fleurfatale earrings !!

This week's earrings are these beautiful Tit earrings by Nancy from NancyvdBoom on Etsy. Nancy is a great painter and a very lovely friend, which I met last year in Amsterdam. Next to her large tree paintings, she started to make art jewelry too. Because we have so many tits here around our house and I love to look at them, I asked Nancy if she could make me a Bluetit and a Great Tit. And now I am wearing real Nancy v.d. Boom oil paintings in my ears !!!

This week's earrings are these "fused viney earrings" by Beth Cyr from bcyrjewelry on Etsy. I got them from husband for my birthday (he secretly looked at my favorites). I really love them a lot and wear them often because they dangle so lovely.

This week's earrings are these "orange teeth" by EST member Silja from Estonia. They are from orange coloured mother of pearl and they really look like some kind of big animal teeth.

This week's earrings are these "green drops" by my friend and EST member Vanessa Kirsch from Kirschbits on Etsy. I got them from Vanessa on the first time we met, at the craft fair in Süderschmedeby in northern Germany. We did not know each other and had no idea how the other one would look like. So, hubby phoned with his mobile to Vanessa's husband's mobile when we were on the fair. The funny thing was that he somehow had the feeling that he got an answer in stereo; it turned out that they were standing next to each other without knowing they did !

Vanessa is concentrating on bag making at the moment, but she is also very crafty with polymer clay as you can see from my earrings. I am giving here some pictures of the great bags she is making, but for more wonderful bag creations visit her shop to see all these beauties !

This week's earrings are these "Zeeuwse knopjes" by EST member Annemiek from TwoTreesBelgium on Etsy. Annemiek was born and grew up in Zeeland in The Netherlands. Her grandmother still wore the traditional costume of her region. The traditional jewelry and other items typical to Zeeland inspired her to make a series of ceramic 'Zeeuwse' items. And needless to say that I love her Dutch folklore jewelry line ! So, I had to have these Zeeuwse knopjes for my ears :)

I will shows you here some more of her Dutch folklore jewelry, but Annemiek makes much more than that; story bowls, animals, roses, and the most beautiful buttons (but I will tell you more about that in a future blog post). So visit her shop to see all these beauties !

This week's earrings are these mother of pearl ones by EST members Estella & Esther from staroftheeast on Etsy. When I was in hospital last year, hubby brought me the post every day. One of these days, just when I was very down, he brought me a parcel from Estella & Esther with these gorgeous earrings. That was fantastic ! I was so happily moved. I wear these earrings always with much love, remembering how I got them :)

This week's earrings are these black tiled ones by EST member Marta from martice on Etsy. I loved them immediately when I saw them for the first time. I like ceramics and tiles, and found this idea with the mini tiles building a mini mosaic for the ears fantastic ! The black color gives them a very elegant flair, but she makes them in all possible colours, also mixed.
And I got some single turquoise ceramic tile ones from her on top of it; are they not cute ?

This week's earrings are these green crocheted ones by EST member Maria from CraftyMaria on Etsy. As I actually never win any game, match, play or give-away, I was extremely surprised when Maria emailed me that I won her give-away ! I was so happy because she makes the most lovely crochet earrings, and I choose this green starry flower pair. They look lovely with pink, purple and dark greens.

This week's earrings are these blue embroidered ones from my EST friend Judit from vadjutka on Etsy. As a traditional costume enthusiast and collector, I could not help myself buying these earrings.... These earrings are made from Kalocsa embroidery in Hungary, which is an element of the traditional costume in Kalocsa. Judit incorporates these traditional embroidery pieces into modern jewelry. A funny coincidence is that a piece of Kalocsa embroidery was the first thing in my own collection. When I was 7 years old, my father made his first business trip outside the country. He traveled to Budapest in Hungary and brought me a lovely piece of Kalocsa embroidery. I was thrilled by the colours and motives, and so it all started :) It still has a prominent place in my collection !

This week's earrings are these dark purple spirals from Brenda from L'Indécise on Etsy. Brenda is from El Salvador and lives in beautiful Geneva in Switzerland. I met Brenda on a craft fair in Amsterdam last summer, so that I could enjoy her playful bijoux in real life and where I bought these beautiful earrings from her. I think they are so special and they have exactly the same colour as my favourite sweater !

And don't you love her new fabric jewelry line ? It's so bright and happy !

This week's earrings are these pink and wine red bells from Veerle Maes from nevousinstallezpas on Etsy. Veerle is from Belgium and creates the most fantastic jewelry from threads and fabrics. I met Veerle on a craft fair in Maastricht two summers ago, so that I could admire her crocheted jewels in real life and where I bought these beautiful earrings from her. They are made from crocheted balls and real dyed silk cocoons. I think they are delicious !
