Monday Mood Board : Bavaria

Monday Mood Board : Hydrangea

The Hortensias or Hydrangeas are starting to blossom here; I love them. And they are very succesful in my garden. I even think about exchanging my roses, that are always full of plant louse, for hortensia. Also I found out that there are many varieties, so a mixed variety Hortensia garden looks nice to me. Monday Mood Board : Family Addition

Family addition again .... But this time a very twittering bunch. We got 6 baby swallows and they are starting to learn to fly at the moment. Funny enough we have 3 parents. Must be a triangle relation. Did you know that they all come back to the nest after a whole day flying, eating and twittering ? Around 22.00 we see them return in the nest, but it has become too small for 9 swallows, so a few are sitting on the beam next to the nest :) Therefore, some sweet swallow pictures from four of our European Street Team members on Etsy.

Monday Mood Board: High Fashion

We drove to The Netherlands last week to visit my family, and I found out that there were two interesting exhibitions close by, one about the Tunisian fashion designer Azzedine Alaïa and the other about the Dutch fashion designer Iris van Herpen. This morning I finally gathered all my energy to go to the hairdresser; I hate going to the hairdresser. But I thought a drastic summer cut would do me good. Monday Mood Board: Bark

This morning I ordered some cropped bark for my garden and they brought me 20 big sacks one hour ago. But when I opened the first sack it was no bark at all..... It was humus, although the sack said bark. Phoned them and tried to explain in my worst German (because I was agitated) what was wrong; took me 30 minutes ! Grrrrrrr I hate that.
