Button Wednesday : Iris Fuller

It is Wednesday again, so it's BUTTON DAY on my blog !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This week I present you to button artist Iris Fuller. Iris started working with buttons after she retired and saw the move of Benjamin Button. She collected lots and lots of buttons, sorted them according to color, style and size, and went to a painting class. She started painting a design on canvas, making a larger copy on wood and then covering that painting with buttons. In this way she creates the most fantastic mosaics. Here some pictures of some of her works:

(Pictures are from Rohnert Park and pressdemocrat)

Have you seen a lovely, beautiful, stunning, crazy button or button-related thingy, or did you make something with a button / buttons, or did you even make buttons yourself, blog about it on your blog on Wednesday, and give the link here in the comments so that everybody can enjoy it !!
